The Canberra Miniature Railway is hosting its premium event of the year – Christmas on the Rails – over 3 nights. This is our biggest and best event and in addition to the usual computer-controlled animated lights we have lots of big Christmas figurines and displays.

Santa will be on a train riding past the station at 6pm and again at 7:30pm. To see Santa at these times you’re advised to arrive early to make sure you get in to the site in time. After each ride past, kids can take the train to the top of the hill to visit Santa and then ride the train back again.

Tickets are on sale online now for $15 each (plus the website’s fee of 88c) or you can buy them at the gate on the night for $18 each (unless sold out, and we’ve sold out before). Children aged TWO and under are free, otherwise everybody needs a ticket to enter, which includes unlimited rides.

ENCLOSED FOOTWEAR IS REQUIRED (no thongs, sandals, etc).
